Aim of the study programme

To fill up the need of such specialists of Applied Physics programme in Lithuania; training on the high university level specialists fitting the international standards and to be able for postgraduate studies; to achieve that the knowledge in the applied physics obtained during the master studies would open the possibility for the graduates to join the international cooperation as well as analyse and solve the technological and physical problems in Lithuania.                                                                   

Intended learning outcomes

Bachelor in Physics musters up special knowledge in the range of fundaments of physics, is able to apply modern scientific concepts and theoretical models, skills in practical knowledge applications, scientific work and self-contained practice.                                                                   

Occupational profiles of graduates

A graduate is able to work at research and industrial institutions the activity of which involves application of theoretical and experimental physics:spectrometry, material science, environmental investigations, radioecology, high-technologies. He/she can also pursue a career at companies in the telecommunication, electronics.
