The project will carry out a theoretical investigation of spectral lines in plasma registered in the EBIT (Electron Beam Ion Trap). The configurations planned to examine in this project possess a very large number of energy levels, therefore their radiative spectra are very complex. Although such spectra of tungsten ions have been observed in the EBIT and tokamak plasma, due to their complexity they have not yet been studied theoretically. The main aim of the project is to give a reliable theoretical interpretation of these complicated tungsten spectra. Furthermore, the study will help to identify the role of correlation effects and the influence of different elementary processes on the formation of spectra as well as the importance of radiative cascades in such plasma.
