The main activities of the Institute of Chemical Physics are comprehensive participation in the Curriculum of Vilnius University and caring out advanced scientific research. The scientific areas of the Institute is related to the theoretical and experimental research and applications of light-induced processes in organic and inorganic materials. Photosynthesis, photoisomerization, conformational transitions, molecular complexes, problems related to separation of electric charge, spectral methods and their development are priority areas of the institute.
