Congratulations to everyone on the new school year!
Please note that Monday, 1 September is the opening day of Vilnius University's academic year, RENOVATIO STUDIORUM – thus there will be no lectures on that day. Everyone is welcome to take part in the celebration events.
Students of the Faculty of Physics:
- Undergraduates, we are waiting for you at 11.00 at the Faculty of Physics of Vilnius University, in the Great Physics Auditorium (Saulėtekis av. 9, Building III, 1st floor)
- Master's students, we are waiting for you at 12.00 at the Faculty of Physics, in the Great Physics Auditorium (Saulėtekis av. 9, Building III, 1st floor)
RENOVATIO STUDIORUM events will also take place at VU faculties, where students from Lithuania and abroad will meet their faculty's academic community and future study mates. At a ceremony in the VU Grand Courtyard (in the Oldtown), first-year students will take the oath of allegiance to their university, and the community will be greeted by university and city leaders. Students, faculty, administrative staff, city residents and guests are invited to celebrate the start of the academic year. The programme.
Please also note that 1-5 September is the integration week for undergraduate freshmen and there will be no lectures for them.
For all other courses, lectures will start on 3 September (Tuesday).
