Vilnius university Life Sciences Center (VU LSC) is a key player in the field of life sciences due to:

VU LSC was officially opened in March, 2016. It consists of three institutes: Institute of Biochemistry, Institute of Biosciences and Institute of Biotechnology.

In 2017 VU LSC has been nominated for the building of the year by "ArchDaily" magazine.
