On May 30 Vadzim Horonin successfully defended his thesis “Pulsed Laser Deposition and Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy of Complex Perovskite Materials”.
For the first time, thin ferroelectric films have been successfully fabricated and characterised using the Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) method. This marks the beginning of new material production, which can be applied in the manufacturing of new devices — particularly in the semiconductor industry and beyond.
