More than 90 CERN colleagues from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, along with the invited guests, gathered at Kaunas University of Technology for the CERN Baltic Conference.

Representatives from VU Faculty of Physics played an active role in CBC2025, delivering oral presentations and participating in the scientific poster session. Three VU students were recognized for preparing the best posters. Students Neilas Beniušis and Sophia Pennuttis prepared an award-winning works on neutral particle reconstruction and Monte Carlo simulations aimed at pentaquark searches within the LHCb detector. Student Rimantas Naina presented his CERN student summer school project on beam loss monitor placement for the future SHiP experiment. Congratulations to all of them.

The CERN Baltic Group was established in 2018 to promote and coordinate CERN-related activities across the three Baltic states. The group currently includes representatives from 14 academic institutions.
