”During the ESAC training I had the opportunity to work with Virtual Observatory (VO) tools, which make it easier to process astronomical observations. The knowledge gained from these sessions will be applied in my future research,” M. Valytė noted that the connections she had made opened new opportunities.

“I learned a lot about astronomical data tools at ESAC and enjoyed meeting other researchers in the field. It was an inspiring experience to work on my skills at a space science center," said V. Šatas.

Forty participants from across Europe took part in the training held in Spain. The Astro-CC project aims to enable communities in astronomy, heliospheric physics, planetary science, and astro-particle physics to accelerate the use of Open Science by supporting the implementation of FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
