"Optoman“ has established a scholarship to encourage students to pursue research in the field of photonics, particularly in areas related to the company’s activities. The company is one of the fastest-growing high-technology companies in Lithuania, specializing in laser optics.

Scholarship Details and Conditions
- The Scholarship is awarded to bachelor’s (3rd-4th year) students and master’s students.
- Duration: 4 months (from 15 March to 15 July).
- Amount: €200 per month for a bachelor’s students and €300 per month for a master's students.
Important
- At the time of application, Candidates must not be employed by companies in the photonics and/or laser sector.
- The same student may receive the Scholarship for the same achievements only once.
- A student receiving this Scholarship does not lose the right to receive a state scholarship or any other scholarship provided for in applicable legislation.
Main Criteria
The following is evaluated:
- The weighted average of the most recent semester – not lower than 8.00;
- The Candidate’s achievements in scientific activities (if submitted);
- The Candidate’s motivation and intention to conduct research in the field of photonics.
How and When to Apply?
Applicants are requested to submit a free-form application and the required documents by email:
- A motivation letter (up to 2,000 characters) substantiating the intention to conduct research in the field of photonics;
- A certificate of results for the most recent semester;
- Documents proving scientific achievements (if available): copies of articles, copies of conference abstracts, etc.
Applications are accepted from 20 to 27 February.
