His work investigates how the chemical composition of stars influences the formation and properties of the planets that orbit them. Based on observations made at the Molėtai Astronomical Observatory, his research provides crucial observational constraints for refining models of exoplanet formation and internal composition.

"By analysing the light from stars hosting planets, the research identifies subtle chemical patterns that are linked to different types of planets and planetary systems. The results help improve our understanding of the environments under which planets form and evolve. This is especially important for interpreting data from current and future space missions studying exoplanets, as it allows scientists to better connect the properties of planets to their parent stars," explains Dr A. Sharma.

We extend our warmest congratulations and wish him a new breakthroughs in what is sure to be a stellar scientific journey.
