We invite the VU Faculty of Physics community to submit applications for the following prizes:
- Povilo Brazdžiūno (1897–1986) – Experimental Physics;
- Jono Kubiliaus (1921–2011) – Mathematics.
Nominations for the prizes are put forward by the senates (councils) of academic and research institutions, members of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and its scientific divisions. As the candidates will need to be approved at the FF Council meeting scheduled for 13 November, please email the following to by 11.00 on 9 November:
- Scientific paper [publication; manuscript];
- A description of the research work, not exceeding 2,000 words, and a list of publications relevant to the topic of the submitted work (if applicable), indicating the journal’s citation index and quartile in the thematically closest journal category, and providing links to electronic databases;
- Information about the candidate.
