       Nonlinear optics: optical parametric generators and amplifiers, continuum generation
       in bulk media and optical fibers;
       Laser physics: laser amplification, fiber chirped pulse amplification (FCPA), Pockels
       cells.
       Fiber optics: characterization photonic crystal fiber nonlinear and dispersive properties;
       Laser pulse characterization techniques: FROG, XFROG, correlation techniques.

       femtosecond laser system. Currently in preparation, to be defended before the end of
       2027.
