The Innovation Agency together with the Centre of Physical Sciences and Technology invites you to participate in the event "Lithuanian Chip Industry 2.0" to present the national chip competence centre ChipsC2-LT. The event will also include a discussion on the strengths and development challenges of the Lithuanian chip industry and an opportunity to network with companies in the Lithuanian chip ecosystem.

The event will also include a discussion on the strengths and development challenges of the Lithuanian chip industry and an opportunity to network with companies in the Lithuanian chip ecosystem.

Venue: A101 aud., at National Centre of Physical Sciences and Technology, Saulėtekio al. 3 Vilnius.

The event will be held in English.

During the event you will learn about:

  • the new national centre of excellence for chips, ChipsC2-LT, and the services it provides in terms of expertise, infrastructure and international cooperation;
  • the experiences of other European Chip Competence Centres and opportunities for cooperation;
  • business expectations;
  • how Siemens and EDA technology solutions are helping companies to gain a foothold in the semiconductor market;
  • Eureka Globalstars' invitation to collaborate with Taiwan on an R&D project in the semiconductor sector.

The event is for:

  • companies active in semiconductors, electronics, optics, photonics, automation and defence electronics;
  • business associations;
  • representatives of the public sector;
  • scientific and research institutions.

Everyone who wants to see the carnival and our Dinosour, we invite you to come on April 18th 10:00 to the Physicist‘s day theme park – Fizland (Saulėtekio al. 9).

During the event you will find various interesting things that will blow you off your feet: from our yearly Grand attraction to the PaDi attraction that is made for our precious little participants and you‘ll also see numerous installations.

Dinas Zauras wants to offer his apologies to our beloved philologist and he’s bringing FiDi members and their friends along! The carnival is moving to the main streets of Vilnius.

Maybe this time we will be able to hear those crucial words – “I forgive you”?

The graduation ceremony for the 2025 graduates of the Faculty of Physics will take place on June 17 at St. Johns' Church. The graduation ceremony will take place at 15.00 for Bachelor's graduates and at 16.30 for Master's graduates.

VU Faculty of Physics first-year students' Study Skills exam will traditionally take the form of a conference, with students presenting their research stands.

Where? At the National Center for Physical Sciences and Technology, Saulėtekio av. 3.

When? 19 January 19 10.00 –12.00 and 14.00 –16.00

Scientists will mark their favourite poster presentations with stickers. Awards will be given to the authors of the posters that receive the most stickers.
